Planned Updates Coming Soon


Hello Everyone!

I took a bit of time away from game dev due to a personal issue. I was shocked to find how many people had come to try my game. That serves as a motivator for me to get it more complete and as such, I have to get back to work. As the game has been in development for a year now I feel I should make more progress and finalize the ending along with any of the other features I had planned.  I have been adding and cutting and adding and cutting for as long as I've been making the game. With all the new eyes on it I want to make sure it is worth every penny for those who bought it or downloaded it (internet is expensive in some places). With that in mind let me first layout what is finalized:

  • Main Characters are set
    • Personalities are set 
    • Overworld abilities are set
    • Locations are going to be changed for the final game to add a little bit to the gameplay both in battle and in the overworld. 
  • Plot is set
    • There will be 6 possible endings.
    • There are hidden bosses in many of the areas.
    • Clues for the True Ending are set and will be placed accordingly 
    • Not adding more Gods. That doesn't fit the story I'm trying to tell. This isn't a hard rule and I may add one or two, but not many more than I have hidden in the game. 

Now what is subject to change:

  • Because the game has taken so long I've decided to add some more areas and bosses to fully flush out the world. 
    • Crete (Planned Side boss and more clues for secret ending)
    • Mt. Olympus because if you're going to fight gods, you're going to need weapons. Godly Weapons.
      • Also Secret Boss Fight
    • Locations will be altered for the sake of the story. (Athens and Sparta need to be moved further apart.) 
    • More areas for Sea Beast and Sea Folk battles. I created them but I failed to give them places to be fought. 
    • Medusa's Island. (She gets her own island. No questions) 
  • More spells 
    • Currently I have 50-ish spells in the game, but I want to add
      • A taunt spell 
      • A guard spell (defend an ally) 
      • A reflect physical spell
      • A reflect magical spell
  • More puzzles 
    • I have some maps to redesign because I don't want to have repetitive puzzles. Which is a bummer because I was really proud of the maps. But the goal is to make something I'm proud of. 

Full disclosure: This game has been bigger than I ever planned it to be from making all of the art to finding the music, to making the sound effects, to studying code, to finding scripts. But I have a set goal now. I want to make sure everyone who plays it gets a complete game. Hopefully more like it than don't, but for now I'd say it's under 50% percent to the goal so I will be working to get it to 50% then 60% until we can say it fully completed. I thank everyone who has played it in the demo state and I hope to make something worth finishing.
